Since this game is a Hybrid Action RPG where you can switch characters you control on the fly, all party member deaths count including one's Phil isn't currently controlling. The devour status from the Midgardsormr boss doesn't count as a death.
DSP put this game on hiatus, meaning it's a wage quit, and you guys voted for me to release it now rather than wait so here it is. In this TiHYDP, DSP plays FF VII Rebirth for day one views and hates it despite hyping it up months in advanced because of low views & low tips. Phil retcons history by telling us he loved FFVII Remake, but if you watch The 0utsyder's TiHYDP FF7 Remake, all Phil does is complain the whole time, and he does the same thing here.
I count all the fails in this 44 minute montage. Phil spends a lot of time on the card games and sucks at it, which eats a big chunk of the runtime of my video. I rendered in 1440p, so I hope YouTube doesn't butcher the quality because roughly half of it is just a card game with static background, but please watch in 1440p even if you have a 1080p display, as it will look better.
The sound mixing is all over the place, but I tried my best to keep everything level, but there might be some inconsistency. Phil got a new pop filter, so the audio levels are all over the place from part to part depending on what they do or don't block, which affects the dynamic range, and Vegas seems to auto boost the volume if the dynamic range is limited because it blocks the DSP-ism like throat clears and lip smacks. The game's audio is also a mess, but prob more Phil's fault because he left it on default, the game battles are way too loud, but the card game is way too quiet.
I set my compressor to + 5 input + 5 output -5.1 thres & my limiter to -3.1 volume maximizer & thres on that menu to -3.1. pt1 is super loud, so I manually lowered it by -6, but i boosted some of Phil's talking but lowered the bass & treble, but you can still barely hear Phil as he somehow dies as Sephiroth, who' suppose to be invincible. The card game is boosted by +1 after and all the battles are lowered by -2.1. The limiter prevents peaking.
Tell me how this video sounds. I prefer my videos to be on the louder side, since it's easier to lower volume than to boost it, since that requires a plugin but lowering does not.
This Friday night will be the release of TiHYDP Uncharted 3 Campaign Death Edition.
