The Western Cape High Court has overturned a ruling that impacted on survivors of historical sexual assault. Two Cape Town women laid charges four decades after the alleged sexual abuse happened in the '70s. The High Court ruling now means victims will not be penalised for not reporting indecent assault earlier.
One of the sisters, Claudine Shiels wrote a memoir ‘Walking Through Front Doors’. She elaborates.
