Fifth generation fighter aircraft (FGFA) are the most technologically advanced fighter jets, featuring multirole capability, advanced avionics, networked data fusion, and most importantly, stealth capability. Only a few countries have developed FGFA, including the US (F-35 Lightning II, F22 Raptor), China (J-20 Mighty Dragon), and Russia (Su-57 Felon). Turkey recently conducted the maiden test flight of its own FGFA called Kaan, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries and BAE Systems of the UK.
