I see a lot of people confused on how to apply force in the lead leg at impact, and as a result, i see a lot of early extension where people push down and lift up, instead of driving and moving the hips back.
I see many golfers perform jump drills in their fitness routine, which is great for physical adaptations, but that's not the same feeling you want in the golf swing. As you move into your lead leg and push down, if you then lift the chest up(like you would when you jump), your hips will come forward, which is early extension.
Instead, if you have the feeling that the chest stays down or flexes as you drive the lead leg, the hips will get pushed back.
