Some shrines are a little hard to spot on the Hyrule Surface, since some could be hidden in caves. But have you noticed that the Lightroots in the Depths and the Shrines on the Surface are in the same location? This way, you can find any shrine on the surface by simply looking at lightroots. And if you’re looking for more lightroots? Simply flip the logic!

This way you can use shrines as waypoints in the depths as well, making exploration much easier.
