Ben Nevis via the CMD Arete: A stunning winters day and a traverse of Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis via the Carn Mor Dearg Arete (CMD arete).
One of the Scotlands classic mountaineering routes done in perfect Scottish winter conditions. Started from the North Face car park and headed up past the CIC Hut and then directly up a runnel to the top of Carn Mor Dearg before heading along the CMD Arete and then Ben Nevis. Only saw two people on the summit
of Ben Nevis. Otherwise had the Arete and Ben Nevis to myself!!
