Row Over Prashant Bhushan's Regime Change Remark At Press Conference With Neha Bora & Abhijeet Dipke

Описание: A controversy has erupted following remarks made during a press conference addressed by activists, lawyers, and civil society members in Delhi. The briefing was called to condemn the arrests of Saurabh Das and Ashutosh Ranka, who were detained after waving the national flag at Jantar Mantar, and to announce a Tiranga Yatra march at Central Park in Connaught Place. At the press meet, senior lawyer Prashant Bhushan openly stated that the ongoing struggle led by students, youth, and civil society is aimed at saving democracy and achieving regime change. The remarks follow criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party against activist Neha Vora over earlier comments linked to protests in Bangladesh. Observers note that Bhushan's open call for regime change provides fresh political ammunition to the ruling party, even as organisers reiterated their appeal for public participation to reclaim protest spaces in the national capital.
