An existential reflection on why I feel the need to leave a legacy when I'm gone.
I’m 54, I don’t have children, and I’ve reached a point in my life where I’m thinking more and more about what remains of us when we’re gone. Not in a dramatic way, but in a human way. The older I get, the more I realise that, for people like me, the things we create, the thoughts we share, and the moments of connection we offer might be the only legacy we leave behind.
This video isn’t about answers, it’s simply me trying to put words to a feeling I think many people carry quietly: the desire to matter, even in a small way.
