　　 After the devastating war that occurred on the bridge of progress, Jinx/Rin was not present, as this event took place hundreds of years ago. This occurrence has been reduced to a mere historical anecdote that few people know or care about. The Jinx we know never existed during this time; it was just Vi and her sister, known as "Jinx" sister. The battle ended with Vi being taken home by Vander, where she grew up with her adopted brothers.

In modern times, people dismiss this history as nonsense, denying the possibility of magic and other "impossible" events from that era. Most people have heard about it but regard it as just a rumor, not genuine history.

In this timeline, "Jinx" never existed, meaning events progressed differently. A secret and mysterious organization, known as the TimeKeepers Sect, has been watching everything unfold. They possess the ability to foresee the future and travel back to the past. This unknown group operates continuously, observing every human action. Nobody knows who belongs to this group or whether they are mortal or not. However, rumors suggest they know everything, including the first moment of the world's creation. They possess the "Jurisdiction of Cadence," a magical orb that serves as a powerful fortune teller, allowing travel to any timeline.

The timeline of "Arcane" has repeated several times, with the TimeKeepers Sect continually trying to prevent villains from winning and destroying everything. They can only observe and cannot intervene directly. Each time the loop repeats, they bring a new human into the past, attempting to change the outcome. However, they have consistently failed, as good humans are defeated and controlled while pure evils prevail.

Now, the time has come in the timeline of Blue Lock. Rin has given up on his dream, decided to rebel against everyone he knows, and sought a new peaceful life, which was unsuccessful. The TimeKeepers Sect took an interest in him, seeing the potential surrounding Rin Itoshi, with a different and strong energy compared to previous chosen humans. They concluded that Rin Itoshi would be the next "shifted" human.

What is "shifting"? Shifting is a controlled or sometimes uncontrolled process where a person goes to sleep and their soul enters a new "unreal" universe. However, this time, it is not unreal or just a dream. Once Rin falls asleep, a shift spell will be cast upon him, bringing him back to the past as a different person, in a reality that has been buried many times.

Rin awakens as a soul in the body of a girl named "Powder." His original body remains alive but temporarily asleep in modern times. Rin unknowingly takes control of this timeline, gradually regaining his memories as he travels as "Powder," who will soon be known as "Jinx."
