The aircraft TS-LBB was on a scheduled passenger flight from Bari, Italy, to djerba, Tunisa. While flying off the coast of palermo, the crew reported a total engine failure, and at 3:24PM local time, requested an emergency approach and anding at palermo.
The aircraft was unable to make it to Palermo, and ditched into the sea around 3:40PM, some 15 miles off the coast.
