Monday afternoon, Whitehall Fire Department (WFD) responded for a report of a structure fire at 2121 Fuller Street in the West Catasauqua section of the township. Deputy 3503 (Bilder) arrived to find light smoke from the one car garage. Engine 2 arrived with only a Motor Pump Operator (MPO). The driver stretched a hand line to the garage in preparation of the second due engine with more manpower.
Tower Ladder 6 arrived shortly after Engine 2 with only the driver. The driver grabbed a saw to take the garage door. Engine 3 arrived with manpower to put the hand line in-service.
It is unknown to Newsworking what exactly was on fire in the garage.
