This is the second part of the Fairwell trip. A farewell to the Western Maryland F's was run on September 01, 1979. We catch the train on the ex-B&O in Maryland. WM 7173-7163 did the honors, and the 7173 was fitted with two different 5 chime horns that sounded outstanding! Maybe some horn fan can fill us in with what type horns where on these units. I have searched everywhere, but could not find other videos of this fine trip to Harpers Ferry and return. I am certainly glad I got a change to film, and experience this trip with good friends. These clips where taken with a Kodak 8mm sound movie camera on 9/01/1978. The link to part one is below.
