A Fresh “Pure Positive” Design Language
Volkswagen introduces its new “Pure Positive” design language with the VW ID. Cross. The concept combines clarity and emotional appeal with compact dimensions and an inviting presence. Inspired by iconic VW models such as the Golf and the classic VW Bus, the ID. Cross radiates friendliness and stability, while keeping a touch of fun in its proportions.

Measuring 4,161 mm in length, the SUV remains city-friendly, yet spacious enough to handle family needs. With a 450-liter boot and an additional 25-liter frunk, practicality is one of its strongest assets.

Interior: Compact Meets Comfortable
Step inside and Volkswagen offers a welcoming “Vanilla Chai” lounge-style ambience. The cabin emphasizes comfort and intuitive usability. Fold-flat seats create flexible cargo space, while physical buttons for key functions provide reassurance in daily driving.

Drivers and passengers can also enjoy pre-configured “Atmospheres”—customizable mood settings that combine lighting, displays, and sounds for a unique travel experience.

Power and Range
Built on the updated MEB+ platform, the ID. Cross is front-wheel drive and powered by an electric motor delivering 155 kW (211 PS). With a projected 420 km range (WLTP), it is designed for both city commutes and longer journeys.

The production model of the Volkswagen ID. Cross will roll out in 2026 as Volkswagen’s answer to the demand for a compact, practical, and affordable electric SUV. Positioned below the ID.3, it will strengthen VW’s electric portfolio alongside upcoming models such as the ID. Polo and ID. Polo GTI.
