Lucifer Morningstar, also known as Samael or The Lightbringer, is one of God's angels and the infamous ruler of Hell. He served as the King of Hell for eons until he decided that he needed a change of scenery. He is commonly known as the Devil or Satan by humans. Having grown tired of ruling the Underworld, after being cast out and fallen from Heaven, Lucifer voluntarily left his position in Hell to become a nightclub owner in Los Angeles, operating an establishment called Lux with his closest friend and senior lieutenant, the demon Mazikeen.
