Описание: Why do planes land on their back wheels first and then on their front wheels? Not all planes land back wheels first. Now the thing is that wherever the most weight is that's where the most wheels are. That's pretty obvious. As we know that all planes have most or all of the fuel in the wings. So it's heavy there and needs to be supported. Also, the wings are quite heavy in themselves. So that area in the middle of the plane gets the most wheels. The difference is now whether a plane has a small nose wheel or a small tail wheel. Either way, you touch down with the heavy bit first, where most wheels are. So why do some planes have the small rear wheel? The answer is weight distribution and center of gravity.
