Round 3 of the AHPVSS at Victoria Park was a huge step in progression. EVO finished just over 1 minute off the lead from Aurora Racing and NEO showed some huge improvement and had the second fastest lap of the day!

For EVO the team was strong, the G’s were high and the trike was fast. Sequoia showed some of his pace early on, breaking away for 10-20 minutes before being reabsorbed in the pack, then having a quick rest at the corner only to be picked up and continue on in a matter of seconds. Matt was flying early on but suffered a cramp 30minutes in. Woody was fast and consistent, continuing his great form from Gambier, with the same being said about Griffin who found that key rut in the corner and knocked out some great times. Finally Darcy finished it off, pushing until he was screaming in agony to chase the win, only finishing 1 minute and 15 seconds ahead of a renewed Aurora.

NEO, what an absolute beast race! The home track sent the team into overdrive, with Jake getting some crazy fast hotlap practice in. He punched out a 1:22 early on and did a huge move over the top of the grid on the first lap to ride the front for the first bit. Thomas and weapon on the camera Hayden then stepped in and flew around the track, keeping it in the top 8. As the day progressed the position slipped down a bit and finished 15th on the day, a huge show of potential for the team!
