Medigadda Barrage is an important component of
the worlds biggest lift irrigation kaleshwaram project.
It is the first pumping station in a chain of 20 pumping stations.
Here the Water will be reverse pumped from the confluence point of Godavari and Pranhita Rivers to Sripada Yellampalli Project with the help of 3 barrages at(Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla) and 3 lifts.
Medigadda Barrage capacity is FRL 100.0 m - 16.17 TMC
