How to make a strurdy firewood carrier from spare wood. The base is about 490 x 450 mm (19.3 x 17.7 in) and the end pieces length are about 450 mm each. Find a suitable handle lath and a right size drill for it. This was 28 mm (1.1 in).
The measures are not very important. Depends what kind of wood you happen to have handy. Don't make too big. Narrower is better: the carrier will be lighter. For more elegant result, use planed lumber and a give it a paint job.
