RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
• 💧 500ml Warm Water (Warm to the touch, not burning)
• 200ml flour
• 🍞 1 pack of Dry Yeast (10g)
• 🍭 1 teaspoon Sugar
• 🌾 650 - 700g Flour( More casual: "Add the flour slowly and be careful—different brands of flour can act differently )
•🧂 1 teaspoon Salt
• 🫒 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
For the topping:
• 🥚 1 Egg Yolk
• 🥛 1 teaspoon of Milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
• First, mix 500ml warm water, yeast, sugar, and 200g flour in a bowl until smooth.
• Cover the bowl and let it rest for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
• After 10 minutes, add the remaining 500g flour, salt, and 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
• Knead the dough well until it is smooth and soft.
• Grease your hands with a little oil each time you handle the dough during the rising process to keep it smooth and prevent sticking. 6. Knead the dough 3 more times at intervals and let it rise until it doubles in size.
• Shape the dough and place it on a baking tray. Let it rise one more time on the tray (final proofing).
• Brush the top with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
• Bake in the oven until it's perfectly golden brown.
⚠️ NOTE:
• Tip: Always oil your hands when kneading or shaping to get the best texture!
Oven: Please use a convection oven (fan oven) for the best results
