The Kettle Crusher is named for my old pal Jock Kettles, every year we have a friendly comp for the honour of taking home the KitKat Cup. It was unfitted last year for obvious reasons but I am hopeful that we will manage a meeting this year.
The fly itself I am confident will catch you a load of fish, it has everything the right colour combination(Green and Black). The tail and palmer will generate lots of movement. It can be fished on its own or as part of a team to fish washing line style.
Give it a go and try different colour combinations, you won't be disappointed with the results.
