For the next year, I will shoot a short film everyday, and by the end I'll hopefully be much better.
I'm calling it the YOF Challenge; if you or anyone you know is interested in trying it, the New Year wouldn't be a bad time to start.
The basic rules are:
-Shoot one film per day (min. 1 minute long)
-It can be about literally anything, and it doesn't have to look pretty at first
-Try to make all of them original, but you can create overarching storylines
-You can brainstorm/write shorts, but NOT shoot them, ahead of time
-You can make the shorts using ANY visual medium (film, stop-motion, animation, timelapse, stick figures. etc.) Get creative!
-After creating 365 shorts. take one final week to create one last short (min. 5 minutes long) applying everything you've practiced.
