In this video, we walk through a new equipment storage building we’re putting up in Armstrong for a client who needed his machinery out of the weather and under cover.
This post frame building uses screw pile foundations, with one section hitting bedrock where we drilled and doweled rebar directly into the rock for a rock-solid footing. The roofs — a 40x40 main roof plus two 20x40 lean-tos — were fully framed on the ground and craned into place for maximum safety and speed. One wall carries a 3-ply 14" LVL beam to handle the combined load of the main trusses and lean-to trusses.
If you’re planning a post frame garage, workshop construction, or equipment storage building, this walkthrough shows how we handle foundations, framing, engineered trusses, and efficient lift-day prep.
