WARNING IMPORTANT
test wiivc rom hacks in dolphin emulator before using them on console
A BAD WII VC WAD FILE CAN AND WILL BRICK YOUR WII
as long as the wad works in dolphin it should be fine to use on console. Most rom hacks have a wii vc version of the patch, be sure to patch your n64 rom with that. id recommend playing the hack in dolphin for about 30 mins or so b4 installing the wad on your wii.
For sm64 hacks use the usa sm64 wad as a base. More complex sm64 hacks prob wont work properly in wii vc unfortunately.

text guide 4 impatient ppl
. install gzinject & extract it to a folder
. copy the folder path of your gzinject folder
. open a terminal & cd into your gzinject folder that you copied
. now for the commands
. gzinject -a genkey
. gzinject -a inject -w "legend of zelda.wad" -m "rom hack.z64" -p gz.gzi
(in order for this command to work u must take the gz.gzi file from the patches folder & put it into the root of your gzinject folder)
