Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs | Sid's Early Start - Odd Beaver Battle Event

This is an odd little thing that happens if you go back at a specific point in the first level of Ice Age 3 (after talking to Fast Tony). You can trigger a beaver battle event that to me seems either misplaced or unused. It may very well be intended, since you do battle with a couple of beavers slightly earlier in the level. Thus, it could be a little gag as if "they are coming back for revenge" (poor Sid), but the way you'd find it is very esoteric and I'm certain not many people thought to go back to see it.
Either way, just wanted to share this since I never found it mentioned online and kid me would be proud!
Aside for the PC version, I also tested it on the PS3 version where it also occurs. I did not test the other ports.
If anybody has an explanation for this or a similar story about finding this as a kid feel free to comment! :)
UPDATE!
As of December 18 2025, I've tested and can confirm that this is present in all PAL UK retail versions (PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii). It is also present in the PS3 Italian version.
