Green papaya salad is the most popular dish in Thailand. It is a Northeastern food that is eaten with sticky rice and other Northeastern dishes such as laab, beef salad and bamboo shoot salad.
In Thailand, green papaya salad is made using a clay mortar, wooden pestle and a spatula. In This vdo I cooked the same way as my grandmother taught me How to cook like Thai traditional method,

Igredients
1 ½ cups julienned green papaya
2-3 cloves garlic
2-3 long beans, cut into 2-inch pieces
Thai chilies, to taste (optional)
1 ½ Tbsp palm sugar, finely chopped
1 Tsp white sugar
3 Tbsp roasted peanuts
1 Tbsp small dried shrimp
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
2½ tsp tamarind juice
3 Tbsp fish sauce
3-5 pieces cherry tomato
suggestion: sticky rice and BBQ chicken are classic pairings with papaya salad
