Behrooz Sabet holds a doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has served as a university professor, Ph.D. mentor, and academic dean. Dr. Sabet has played an active role in the development of Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral programs across various institutions of higher learning. He has also been closely affiliated with the Bahá'i Institute for Higher Education (BIHE), contributing to its development for over two decades. Dr. Sabet's scholarly work focuses on the intersection of religion, science, and culture, and he has authored numerous publications exploring religious, philosophical, ethical, educational, and social themes—an endeavor consistently pursued through an interdisciplinary approach aimed at fostering comprehensive and integrated perspectives. One of his key areas of research is the evolution of political thought in Iran, along with the conceptual and historical foundations of modernity and their impact on Islam and Middle Eastern societies. He has written and translated several books, including works on the challenges of modernity in the Middle East. Most recently, he oversaw the republication of Dr. Muhammad Bagher Houshyar's seminal work, Principles of Education, serving as editor and contributing a biographical introduction and chapter-by-chapter commentary. Dr. Sabet has also delivered numerous media presentations and has been interviewed by international outlets on issues such as human rights, education, women's rights, religious freedom, globalization, and sociocultural transformation.
