Summer's here, and Get Physical are ready to greet it with a new 12" by Christian Kreuz, aka Dakar -- a breezy, organic, pop-tinged house track bolstered by remixes from Lopazz and Gavin Herlihy.

Dakar came to prominence as one half of celebrated electro duo Dakar & Grinser, releasing a string of hit 12"s including an unforgettable cover of The Stooges' 'I Wanna Be Your Dog'. Since contributing vocals to Headman's 'Birth School Work Death', Dakar's been honing a more mature sound that draws on his past but is resolutely forward-thinking. 'I've Got That Feeling' is the result: a glorious, hummable pop tune riding a bedrock of impeccably produced 4x4 rhythm, teeming with synth melodies, detailed drum edits and syncopated keys. With its instantly memorable, optimistic vocal, 'I've Got That Feeling' is a summer party anthem in the making.

Gavin Herlihy has won many fans thanks to his exuberant but subtle 12"s for Moodmusic and Kindisch, and here he turns out a heavy-duty remix of 'I've Got That Feeling' that's destined to send dancefloors crazy. The syncopated percussion remains intact, but Gavin drops the vocal and ups the drama with crunching snap-claps, a menacing one-note bassline and a series of devastating drops. This is deep, dark and uncompromising yet decidedly party-minded house music of the highest order.

Get Physical veteran Lopazz returns Dakar's vocal to centre-stage for his sensitive, sensuous rework. As we know from his recent album, Lopazz has a wonderfully cinematic sense of arrangement, atmosphere and melody, and this gift is brought to bear beautifully on 'I've Got That Feeling', as he brings out the mellow, balmy quality of Dakar's original and runs with it.
