When I wanted to start another Yamaha Banshee Build, I didn't want to tear down a nice complete machine. I found a cheap Banshee and I got what I paid for unfortunately!
I made the mistake of not looking in depth enough when I looked at the bike (which I ever recommend). I jumped the gun due to my excitement to start this build, and learned the hard way.
The frame of the bike was completely bent, far worse than I had originally thought. The Engine case was cracked from the chain snapping, far worse than what it seemed like after looking at the bike quick. It wasn't until I started taking body panels off, that I was able to see the true extent of the damage.
The only justifiable solution was to get a new frame. I spent a lot of time thinking if the bent frame would every be straight enough for my OCD, no matter what tools and techniques were used to try and straighten it. The new frame that I bought also has a title, which is a huge plus!
Stay tuned for the next video, as I have a big surprise in store for this Banshee build!
Shout out to @PartzillaParts for always having the parts I need as well as very quick shipping. Even my hoodie in the video was from Partzilla.
