In celebration of my little Mason & Hamlin Style 110 Reed Organ's 122nd birthday, I recorded the Brahms Es ist in Ros entsprungen. This Mason & Hamlin was built on August 8, 1890. I know it isn't the right time of year for this piece, but the organ's birthday made me reflect on the birth of the one far greater than all of us and whose glory and praise we convey through music. Soli Deo gloria.
