AMER (AMBER) FORT: JAIPUR, RAJASHTAN (4K)

Описание: Amer Fort in Jaipur, India is one of India's most popular forts. Amer Fort is also known as Amer Palace, Amber Fort, or Amber Palace. It was first built over the remnants of an earlier fort in the late 16th century by Raja Man Singh and much of the buildings you see today were erected in the 17th century. The main entrance gate is known as the Sun Gate. There are four main courtyards. The first courtyard is known as Jalebi Chowk and is quite wide. The second courtyard features the Diwan-i-Aam or Hall of Public Audience, where the Raja or King held an audience with the public and met with his officials. The courtyard also features the beautiful Ganesh Pol or Ganesh Gate. The third courtyard features the stunning Sheesh Mahal or Palace of Mirrors. It's also known as the Diwan-i-Khas or Hall of Private Audience. The fourth courtyard features some of the oldest sections of the fort, and features the Man Singh I Palace Square and the ladies' apartments.
