Every ranked match starts with the same question: what does our team need, and which Guardian build gives us the best answer against the enemy composition?

We're not locking ourselves into a single Guardian build for the entire ranked session. Once the teams are formed, we'll look at our composition, the enemy composition, and the roles that need to be filled before deciding what we're taking into the match.

That could mean Luminary, Willbender, Dragonhunter, or Core Guardian.

If our team needs something different, we adapt.

The goal is to use the Guardian profession as a toolbox rather than forcing the same build into every matchup. Different team compositions create different problems, and each Guardian build brings something different to Guild Wars 2 Conquest PvP.

Every match is played live in Ranked Conquest solo queue with real matchmaking and real team compositions. The build you see in one match may be completely different in the next depending on what our team needs and what we're facing on the other side.
