Описание: ECU has established a reputation for supporting national objectives in national security and defence through its research and education programs. In 2017, Edith Cowan University committed to formalise delivery of support to Defence by developing stronger relationships between the University and the Department of Defence in research and knowledge translation. ECU seeks to deliver support to Defence through: (a) A strong awareness of Defence needs; (b) Ongoing engagement with Defence and other Government agencies as customers; (c) Provision of advice to help enhance Australia’s defence capabilities; (d) Development and shaping of University programs to deliver research and education outcomes of relevance to Defence; (e) and, (d) Partnering with industry to translate knowledge into actionable innovation. The ECU Defence Team has substantial experience in Defence and in the academic sector, thus improving the university’s ability to deliver the right outcomes.
