O voo TP277 desta manhã com destino a Cancun, no México, regressou ao Aeroporto Humberto Delgado em Lisboa devido a problemas técnicos, quando já se encontrava sobre o oceano Atlântico. O voo era operado pelo A330-900 neo com matrícula CS-TUR, tendo aterrado de emergência ao início desta tarde, em Lisboa, em total segurança.

A ocorrência levou à colocação de algumas aeronaves que se encontravam na aproximação à capital portuguesa em espera.

Em comunicado, a TAP deu conta desta ocorrência:

"A TAP confirma que, devido a uma questão técnica num dos motores do A330neo, o voo TP277, de Lisboa para Cancun, regressou a Lisboa, onde já aterrou em total segurança, após ter realizado tempo de voo para gastar combustível".

🇬🇧 TAP plane bound for Cancun returned to Lisbon due to technical problems in one of the engines

Flight TP277 this morning to Cancun, Mexico, returned to Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon due to technical problems, when it was already over the Atlantic Ocean. The flight was operated by the A330-900 neo with registration CS-TUR, having landed in emergency early this afternoon, in Lisbon, in complete safety.

The occurrence led to the placing of some aircraft that were on the approach to the Portuguese capital on hold.

In a statement, TAP reported this occurrence:

"TAP confirms that, due to a technical issue in one of the A330neo's engines, flight TP277, from Lisbon to Cancun, has returned to Lisbon, where it has already landed in complete safety, after having spent flight time to spend fuel".
