A visit to the shrine of Benzaiten, the Goddess of Femininity

Описание: In this video we visit the shrine of Benzaiten (of Benten for short,) the only goddess among the Seven Gods of Fortune. Benten is the goddess of femininity, of creativity, fertility, the arts, the waters and everything that flows. Quite a lot but not surprising since all these qualities are associated with the feminine energy.

The shrine is a part of a larger temple complex, called Takahata Fudo that belongs to the esoteric Shingon school of Buddhism. What I love about this place is how full of light, vibrant energy it is. And how masterfully these qualities of the feminine were contrasted with its mysterious side at the back of the shrine that was darker and somewhat mysterious. Every time I visit the shrine I feel energies and inspired by its beauty. I hope you enjoyed it too.
