AMAZING! Plane Spotting at Aruba Oranjestad Int'l Airport, AUA | 24/06/23

A few hours spotting at Oranjestad, Queen Beatrix Int'l Airport on the gorgeous Caribbean island of Aruba. Somewhere completely new for me! After a big storm in the early hours of the morning the weather for the rest of the day was unfortunately not beach weather. It was a little overcast and rather windy. So with that in mind, I thought I'd check out the airport and see if there was anywhere worth getting some footage from. Answer to that question is YES! Some great overhead shots of the arriving aircraft as well as close ups of the departures, lining up and blasting off down the runway. From right behind the threshold of RWY11 you can also see I was right in the line of jetblast. Some of them really causing a stir and making it difficult to film. So I did move out of the way, slightly further to the side as to avoid getting battered by the jetblast.
All in all a good spotting adventure. All flight info has been added on screen, data was taken using flightradar24 app. Apologies for the wind noise (not just the jetblast) it was extremely windy that day in Aruba following a morning of storms.
