A peaceful temple stay in Koyasan, Japan | VLOG

Описание: Come along on our second trip to Koyasan, Japan!

Often described as the most spiritual area of Japan, Mt Koya is home to an active monastic centre founded by Kobo Daishi and is the headquarters of the Koyasan sect of Shingon Buddism.

It also happens to be one of the best places to arrange a temple stay, a definite must-do while you're in Japan!

Koyasan is like no other place I have ever visited. Perched on the top of the mountain, you feel so far away from the rest of the world. It's peaceful, tranquil and incredibly magical.

The first night we arrived at the temple we'd just settled down for a cup of green tea when it started to snow. I really can't describe well enough how beautiful Mt Koya is, so I'll leave you with this vlog instead!
