• Theme: Cross-border Cooperation for Regional development project in North Korean border areas: Issues and Opportunities

As a part of the theme on 'Development cooperation for border area and legal issues, propose a session on 'the design of cross-border cooperation projects for regional development of North Korean border areas and addresses the accompanying socio-political issues including legal issues.
We propose this idea with the expectation that the initiation of cross-border cooperation for the regional development of this region will lessen the security risk substantially and thereby enable us to find a clue for peaceful coexistence of surrounding countries.
The specific projects we consider are Dandong-Sinuiju cross-border regional development project, Rajin, Hunchun, and Hassan cross-border regional development project, and Eco-Peace University Town Development project in the DMZ area.
