The Archdiocese of Gulu will lead this year’s Uganda Martyrs’ day celebrations at Namugongo in June. According to the Archbishop of Gulu, John Baptist Odama, the archdiocese hopes to raise 900 million shillings to facilitate the preparation of this event. Odama has also revealed that the church hopes to use the martyrs ‘day celebrations to highlight some of the ills plaguing the country at the moment.
