I said I was gonna do it, so I did. Shii's Song video in 4K. Beautiful musical animation. If it doesn't touch your soul, you're probably not human. RIP moot.
Technical crap: The SWF converter software I used maxed it out a bit above 1440p (so I guess "4k remastered is somewhat deceptive..) and the software I used was the only one out of about a dozen I tried that would actually output the video properly without problems (and even that software only worked in one mode). This is a very old video, folks, and most software just can't handle it properly anymore.
Needless to say, this is as good as this video is probably ever going to get.
The audio was redone at 192khz prior to pitch shifting and semitone matched to the original flash audio for true authenticity (which I admittedly didn't do for the other versions of this video I uploaded).
I forgot how much of a pain in the ass this whole process is, and I don't ever want to do this again. You're on your own when 8K is the "new thing"... Just saying..
