বাঙলা নাট্যগোষ্ঠী । করোনা ভাইরাসজনিত মহামারির প্রেক্ষিতে স্টাক হোম থিয়েটার(গৃহবন্দী নাট্য আন্দোলন) একটি পরীক্ষা মাত্র।
স্টাক হোম থিয়েটার প্যান্ডেমিক থিয়েটার বা কোয়ারেন্টাইন থিয়েটার থেকে সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন । কেবল সাদৃশ্য হ'ল এ যাবতীয় থিয়েটারের জন্ম এক বাধ্যতা মূলক পরিস্থিতিতে ।
করোনা
মহামারীর প্রাদুর্ভাবের সাথে থিয়েটার হল এবং অন্যান্য পারফর্মিং আর্ট স্পেসগুলি তাদের দরজা বন্ধ করে দিয়েছে এবং শারীরিক দূরত্ব আমাদের আকস্মিকভাবে মহড়া বন্ধ করতে বাধ্য করেছে। যখন সমস্ত সৃজনশীল ক্রিয়াকলাপ আজ স্থির অবস্থায় , আমরা শিল্পীরা নাটক পাঠ ,আবৃত্তি, কোরিওগ্রাফি ,বাদ্যযন্ত্র উপস্থাপনা , গান , নাট্য কর্মশালা র মাধ্যমে সরাসরি প্রচার শুরু করেছি । সেই সঙ্গে
অতীতের প্রযোজনা ,সিনেমাটিক ফিল্ম ক্লিপসগুলির পুনদর্শন , ব্যক্তি এবং গোষ্ঠীর সংরক্ষণাগারে সঞ্চিত সম্পদের ফুটেজ , ওয়েবসাইট , ইনস্টাগ্রাম, ফেসবুক, ইউটিউব ,ইত্যাদি ডিজিটালি উপলব্ধ হচ্ছে ।
নবপল্লী নাট্য সংস্থা চলমান সংকটের মধ্যে তাদের কাজগুলি ও ডিজিটালভাবে ভাগ করে নেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে।
গৃহবন্দী থিয়েটার প্রকৃতিতে আলাদা।
আমাদের নাটকগুলি কোয়ারেন্টাইন ভিত্তিক পরিস্থিতি বা ইস্যু ভিত্তিক নয় । আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য
যে কোনও থিম বা ফর্মের উপর নাটক উপস্থাপনা করা। ।ঠিক যেমনটি আমরা প্রসেনিয়াম থিয়েটারে মঞ্চস্হ করি । সুতরাং গৃহবন্দী থিয়েটার একটি দুঃসাহসিক প্রচেষ্টা ।
অভিনয় ,বাচিক আঙ্গিক , সেট , প্রপস , মেক আপ ইত্যাদির প্রয়োগ সহ নিজেদের লিভিং রুমকে অন্তরঙ্গ থিয়েটার স্পেসে রূপান্তরিত করে নাটকের মঞ্চায়ন।
আমাদের প্রথম নাটকটি , স্বর্ণমৃণালিনী । একক উপস্থাপনা । অবহেলিত মৃণালিনী দেবী , রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের সহধর্মিনী র জীবনী অবলম্বনে ।

Stuck Home Theater Movement
Initiated by Navapalli Natya Sanstha, a Bengali theater group based in New Delhi, India, Stuck Home Theatre is an experimentation at the wake of Corona virus pandemic.
Stuck Home Theatre should not be confused with Pandemic Theatre or Quarantine Theatre . Only resemblance is that all such theatre sprang out of compulsion.
With the outbreak of Corona pandemic, theatre halls and other performing arts spaces have shut their doors and Physical Distancing has compelled us to halt our rehearsals abruptly. When all creative activities were in standstill position, we started witnessing live streaming of play readings, recitations,choreographic and musical presentations, singing, workshops ; resurfacing of past productions and cinematic film clips ,footage of archival resources of individuals and groups, available digitally on websites, Instagram, Facebook,YouTube,etc.
Navapalli Natya Sanstha has also decided to share their works digitally amidst on going crisis.
Stuck Home Theatre is different in nature.
Our theatrical pieces are not set at the backdrop of Quarantine based situations or issues.
Rather, the effort is to present a play on any theme or form, just like we used to put on boards at theatre auditorium.
With an amalgamation of acting, movement, set, props, make up, etc, and while trapped at home, eventually finding our ways **********to recreate an aura of proscenium theatre************* by transforming our Living Room into intimate theatre space ***************
Our debutant play is a solo presentation of Bengali play of short duration, culled from in-house full length 'SWARNA MRINALINI', based on the life of much neglected, Mrinalini Devi, consort of Rabindranath Tagore, the myriad minded seer of Bengal.
