The Telangana Government has officially started the land acquisition process for the prestigious Musi River Rejuvenation Project. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the state has accelerated efforts to transform the polluted Musi into a modern riverfront corridor.

The Musi River Development Corporation has entered the field to execute Phase A1 and Phase A2 development works.

📍 Phase A1: From Himayat Sagar to Gandhi Sarovar – 9.2 KM
📍 Phase A2: From Osman Sagar to Gandhi Sarovar – 11.8 KM

👉 Over 50 acres of land will be acquired in Golconda Mandal (Hyderabad) and Gandipet Mandal (Ranga Reddy district).
👉 Compensation will be paid as per the Land Acquisition Act 2013 based on market value.
👉 Landowners are instructed to submit Pattadar details, Aadhaar, and bank information.
👉 Officials have released survey numbers village-wise and invited objections within the stipulated time.

The Musi River development will cover nearly 55 KM stretch from Gandipet to Gowrelli across 14 mandals and 46 villages in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal, and Malkajgiri districts.

This project is expected to reshape Hyderabad’s infrastructure, real estate value, and environmental landscape.
