If your OE idler arm is causing vibration in your early model Mustang's engine bay, then make sure to pick up a new mount kit from CJs.
Idler arms generally break down and become unstable more quickly than pitman arms because of the pivot function that is built into them. It is a good idea to replace this component of your steering system because after years of use and stress, its integrity is likely compromised.
