research. Dr. Atul Butte, chief of the Division of
Systems Medicine at Stanford University, shared his insight on who is collecting this data, what they are doing with the information they aggregate and what it means for healthcare. AACP President-elect Patricia A. Chase moderated this thought-provoking event and presented the Paul R. Dawson Biotechnology Award and Volwiler Research Achievement Award.
