Gloam Session / Matt Elliott - Dust Flesh and Bones

Описание: Gloam Session is a live music session format produced by the Stand Alone Complex collective, born from a video idea by Antonio Stea. It is an audiovisual recording of a live performance inside nature, during the gloam, when the sun has just set and the last unpredictable colors of the sky appear. In that moment of rapid change, man turns into shadow and the spirit of the artist becomes clearly visible to the naked eye.

The guest of the 9th episode, the first premiered for Sentireascoltare, is Matt Elliott, the loneliest, darkest and most intimate singer-songwriter of our century.

All the madness and alienation of the contemporary world are contained in the British singer-songwriter's resigned and melancholy poetics. His masterpiece “Drinking Songs” changed the history of folk. For Gloam Session, Matt Elliott performed the beautiful and heartbreaking “Dust Flesh and Bones”, from “The Broken Man” (Ici d'ailleurs, 2012).
