Driving in Germany: Autobahn A7 E45 from Northeim to Kassel

Описание: In this video you can ride along on Autobahn A7 E45 from Northeim to Kassel via Göttingen. The A7 is Germany's longest Autobahn and has been widely featured on the channel.

Never ending construction and renovation works have also plagued this section of the A7 for a long time. Kassel is a larger regional city and is connected with the rest of the country via the A7 as well as the A44. The A44 is still being built out in the eastern direction as of today, although progress has been notoriously slow here as well. A few small sections have been opened in recent decades but the finish line is still many years away. Once the new A44 East will be connected to the A7 at Kassel, the construction works involved will likely further impede traffic there.

On the positive, it's always nice seeing Kassel in the distance when approaching from the North. You can really see the valley opening up as the height difference is quite significant for this region. Hope you enjoy the ride along despite all the construction and holiday traffic!
