Clashes erupt at Argentina university march over funding and wages

Описание: Police and protesters clashed in Buenos Aires on Thursday during a massive demonstration.

Riot police fired tear gas as dozens of demonstrators hurled stones near the Congress building, where thousands gathered.

The protesters were demanding that President Javier Milei's government comply with a law updating public university funding, which mandates inflation-adjusted salary increases for professors and increased student scholarships.
