The gods’ patience has run dry. Enlil, furious at humanity’s unyielding resilience, commands the ultimate punishment—a catastrophic flood meant to erase mankind from existence. The skies darken, the waters rise, and destruction consumes the land.

But not all the gods stand with Enlil. Enki, the god of wisdom and protector of life, defies the decree and secretly warns Atrahasis, a devout and wise man. “Build an ark,” he whispers. “Preserve life before the deluge claims it all.”

As the storm rages, the gods themselves recoil in fear at the devastation they have unleashed. Terrified, they seek refuge, but none are more stricken with grief than Nintu, the mother goddess. Her sorrow echoes through the heavens as she weeps for the countless lives lost:
"When the daylight awakened, all my children had died,
Washed away by the flood, I am stained by their blood!"

But even in the face of annihilation, hope remains. Atrahasis endures, carrying the future of mankind within his ark. The question now is—what comes next?
