The Pan-African Parliament (PAP), the legislative arm of the African Union, held the 5th Ordinary Session of its sixth Legislature and related meetings from 16 July to 1 August 2025 in Midrand, Republic of South Africa, under the African Union Theme of the Year for 2025: “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations.”
Several preparatory meetings were convened before the formal opening of the Ordinary Session on 21 July 2025.
