The condition usually resolves on its own in 2-3 weeks as the body absorbs the blood. However, repeated occurrences should prompt further investigation. Simple treatments like antibiotic or anti-inflammatory eye drops may be prescribed. Dr. Anchal advises consulting an eye specialist for proper diagnosis and care.
