Abstract:
A technique for evaluating a human individual’s randomly created keystroke files is proposed using fuzzy pattern recognition. Applications of the evaluated input data files are put forward with the presumption that this method of classification will produce structures in the data file that associates with useful cybersecurity applications. In this approach the randomly created keystroke file is classified into categories of keyboard characters cluster analysis.
The application is examined based on three fundamental problems in pattern recognition as put forward by Klir and Yuan; the sensing problem, The feature extraction problem, and the defining of a discrimination function for each class which assigns a real number to each pattern vector.
